"Wow. . ." i murmered.

"Wow is right." Sameth replied, somehow squeezing his way in.

I followed close after, unable to contain my excittement

"Still remember it?" He asked.

"Every inch" i was bare;y able to whisper, looking around. So many memories packed tight into the small area.

"What comes to mind?" Sameth asked.

"Adventures, mischevious cubs, fun, pride. . . " another word seemed to linger in my mind, but i dare not say it.

Sameth gave her a look. "Say it." He said, giving a tap to his head with his finger.

"Close friendship. . ." Almost love I couldnt help but hide the thought. It seemed heavy in the room. This is where i had said goodbye to Sameth. Almost love smelled in the room, almost gagging me. I couldnt believe i hadnt seen it earlier, before i left.

"Almost love, huh?" Sameth said, a mischeivious grin on his face.

I gave him an odd glance. Did he just read my mind through my block? No one has ever been able to do that. . .
"Maybe. . ." i murmered.

He gave a soft smile as he sat down. Looking up at Echo, he murmured softly,
"Theres always a rumor. If you truely love someone, you can see, hear and feel everything they do, no matter how far apart you are."

ooc: dont even ask XD

"But isnt that only a rumor?" i asked, lowering my gaze. What was he trying to do? Why was he trying to work his way into my heart?

ooc: oh ho ho, is he or is he not? that is the question XD

Before he could reply, a alarm was raised.
"Someone's invading!" Sameth cried, on his feet in an instant, "We have to get back to center camp."

NRR: ogosh XD this there was going to be an attack in my story for Echo! It ws gonna be all the griffens came after the SLTs because Echo was among them

I was already heading out. Taking off, I was speedily flying towards camp.

ooc: thanks for the idea! XD now gimme a reason why they want Echo lol

Sameth reached camp and went straight to his father.
"Who's invading?" He asked.
His father looked grimly at him, "Griffens." He said simply, looking at Echo.

"Why are you looking at me?" I asked, looking back at him. I wasn't sure to be angry, confused or even insulted. This was a heafty acusation.

Clicks, caws and other bird sounds could be heard in the distance, as if giving a warning. As if they knew they would when whether the clan was prepared or not.

A mass of feathers and fur soon could be seen in the skies as the griffens drew closer. The queen was leading the army in the front, flanked by guards...and Zora. A look of pure glee was shining in the griffen's eyes.
A little birdy told me that your not supposed to be here Echo! Came Zora's sharp thought as she allowed her mind to be read by Echo, So i took the time when you left to make a call to my dear Griffen friends, and boy were they not happy.

The queen and Zora exchanged glances. Lifting thier heads, they gave a deep caw that shook the ground and filled the air.
The attack had begun.

NRR: why is Echo not sapost to be there? and imma go to third person to. . . its weird doin first with others i third XD

Echo growled, her fur bushing out a tad.
"I thought you may have changed at least a bit. . ." she whispered, half to herself. Launching into the air before anyo others had the chance, Echo faced the queen and Zoraki in the air.
"Why must you ruin the peace of other because of me?! Why couldn't you just face me off with dignity?!"

"But wheres the fun in taking down only one of you when we have a chance to get you all?" The queen said coldly.
"Poor, poor Echo. So ready to trust others when it can lead to her downfall. But Eva is right, theres no point in only taking you." Zora cackled as Eva the Queen called orders to her army as they rushed past her in a fury of feathers.

Echo growled, and lunged straight for the queen named 'Eva.' The large feline dug her claws into the griffen's wing and clentched hard before wishpering into her ear.
"You and your kind may say it is my downfall, but sometimes trusting others gets you more allies." As they fought for dominance, Echo tried to basicly rip Eva's wing out, making it impossible to fly.

Zora and Eva exchanged a click. The queen stopped moving and started to let herself free fall while Zora came down on top, talons outstreched to dig into Echo's shoulders.

She let them. Next thing they knew, Echo was letting out a glass shattering shriek as the all fell. It sounded as if she was giving up, but it was far from that. Star-Light Tigers fought valiently against other griffens as Echo took these to on herself. Hope was starting to trickel out of her heart as nothing seemed to be happening other than wind rushing past the 3. Had she not yelled high enough? But proving she had, roars could be heard off in the ditance, that seemed to be getting closer, fast.
And these, were dragon calls.

All griffen's froze. All that is, expect for Zora. Digging in her claws to Echo, the blue-eyed griffen tore her off her queen and crashed the tiger into the ground.
"You will pay." Came Zora's low hiss. She raised her head, and prepared to strike.

"ECHO!!" Sameth's cry shot through the air as he pelted his way to her, trying to get there before Zora found her mark.

The rest of the griffens had reformed, casting out one high pitched call that shattered the ears of anything close as they rallied themselves to fight a bigger enemy.

NRR: im goooood XD

Echo signalled Sameth with her tail to stay put. This was her battle.
Her eyes narrowed at the griffen that she once thought to be at least her aquaintence.
"You saved my life before Zoraki. You could Have let me die then and there. And I've saved yours. So why kill me now?" the large cat growled. This was an answer she wanted if this animal was going to try and end her life. It wasn't a simple death plee, it was demand.
